Las festividades fueron organizadas por el Centro Comunal de la localidad, en colaboraci\u00f3n con el Municipio de San Carlos, la Intendencia de Maldonado y Emprendedores Ruta 12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre las actividades que se llevaron a cabo durante el s\u00e1bado 12 y domingo 13 de agosto, se destac\u00f3 la degustaci\u00f3n de platos tradicionales como el cl\u00e1sico asado con cuero, chorizos y otros productos locales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, se llev\u00f3 a cabo el acto protocolar en el que participaron autoridades y vecinos, seguido de un impresionante desfile de caballer\u00eda gaucha liderado por la Sociedad Criolla Mataojo, acompa\u00f1ado por diversos espect\u00e1culos art\u00edsticos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El intendente de Maldonado, Enrique Ant\u00eda, comparti\u00f3 su entusiasmo durante el acto protocolar al destacar c\u00f3mo Pueblo Ed\u00e9n se ha consolidado como un destino en crecimiento. Subray\u00f3 que el \u00e1rea atrae a personas que buscan vivir en un entorno tranquilo, rodeado de naturaleza y paz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En cuanto a la infraestructura, el intendente mencion\u00f3 que se est\u00e1n realizando gestiones con el Ministerio de Transporte y Obras P\u00fablicas para mejorar la ruta que conduce a Pueblo Ed\u00e9n, as\u00ed como para ensanchar los puentes de acceso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cabe resaltar que el 8 de agosto de 1917, Rom\u00e1n Furtado desencaden\u00f3 el proceso fundacional de la Villa de Mataojo de San Carlos, hoy conocida como Pueblo Ed\u00e9n, al dividir parte de su campo junto al arroyo \u00abPintado\u00bb en parcelas.
