{"id":7536,"date":"2024-09-19T19:27:43","date_gmt":"2024-09-19T22:27:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gopunta.uy\/noticias\/?p=7536"},"modified":"2024-09-19T19:27:44","modified_gmt":"2024-09-19T22:27:44","slug":"inauguran-recordatorio-de-piria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gopunta.uy\/noticias\/2024\/09\/19\/inauguran-recordatorio-de-piria\/","title":{"rendered":"Inauguran recordatorio de Piria"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Este s\u00e1bado 21 de setiembre a la hora 11 se habilitar\u00e1 un monumento al fundador de Piri\u00e1polis, Francisco Piria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La iniciativa cuenta con el apoyo de la Intendencia de Maldonado y el Municipio de Piri\u00e1polis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se trata de una obra de cuerpo entero del escultor Alberto Saravia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Estar\u00e1 emplazada en Rambla de los Argentinos y Talcahuano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La visi\u00f3n de Piria sobre la conexi\u00f3n entre el medio ambiente y el ser humano deriv\u00f3 en la fundaci\u00f3n del balneario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seleccion\u00f3 el lugar por la energ\u00eda natural que pose\u00eda.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fernando Juan Santiago Francisco Mar\u00eda Piria de Grossi, conocido abreviadamente como Francisco Piria, naci\u00f3 el 21 de agosto de 1847 en Montevideo.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fue empresario, escritor, pol\u00edtico y alquimista que muri\u00f3 en 1933.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Estudi\u00f3 en Italia y a su regreso al pa\u00eds comenz\u00f3 a trabajar en varias \u00e1reas destac\u00e1ndose como rematador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Compr\u00f3 2700 hect\u00e1reas de campo desde el cerro Pan de Az\u00facar hasta el mar.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A comienzos del siglo XX, construy\u00f3 el primer hotel, actual \u201cColonia Escolar de Vacaciones Dr.emilio Oribe\u00bb, e inici\u00f3 la rambla.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 1912 llev\u00f3 adelante los primeros remates de solares en Piri\u00e1polis.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ocho a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s edific\u00f3 el Argentino Hotel que fue inaugurado el 24 de diciembre de 1930.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fuente: Intendencia de Maldonado<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Este s\u00e1bado 21 de setiembre a la hora 11 se habilitar\u00e1 un monumento al fundador de Piri\u00e1polis, Francisco Piria.
